Porcelain Repairs
Porcelain Repairs are a special type of repair as porcelain is basically glass in a agregate form that is painted on and melted at a very high tempurature around 2400 F. Repairing porcelain is done in several steps depending on where the repair is done and what type of damage it is. cleaning and prepping the surface requires a specific kind of acid and them neutralized so that the proper ph factor is obtained prior to the filling of the void.

Fiberglass Repairs
Fiberglass repairs are unique depending upon the type of repair and location. Each job is evaluated for strength and integrity requirement as to how it will be fixed. The area needs to be prepared by either grinding or sanding or both and cracks need to be opened up to provide a strong bond.
Tile Repairs
RME I Can Fix That Tahoe is a leader is tile repair as there are hundreds if not thousands of different styles of tile utilized in the building industry. We specialize in recreating the surface to match exactly to the surrounding tile. Sometimes we can recreate the chip or if multiple cracks we must recolor the entire tile depending on the situation. Tile is similar to porcelain requiring etching and adhesion promotors depending on the location.
Plastic Repairs
Plastic repair involves many different methods depending on the plastic. Some are fixed by welding utilizing a special plastic welder and the proper plastic rod which must be utilized by ascertaining the plastic type and material by burning to see how it reacts. The other way to repair plastics is by using a powder and catalyst to build up in small quantities to recreate the missing piece or fill the crack etc.
Corian, Gibraltar, Avonite
Corian, Avonite, Gibarltar and other man made surface materials are either polyester resin or acylic resin and can be repaired with utilizing a broad spectrum filler and usual finishes used on other surfaces. Most can be recreated and finished but may require buffing down to a matching sheen after clearcoating and drying.
Cultured Marble
Cultured Marble is still used today for some sinks and vanities but was extensively used in the 70 and 80s as a way of providing a durable finish for vanities and sink used in the building industry expecially in apartments and tract homes. Cultured marble is an aggregate concrete type of material as a base and a color sheet and clear added on top which makes it difficult to sand as the surface is very thin.
Marble, Quarts and Granite
Granite, Quartz and Marble are all natural stone materials that are cut to fit and polished. They are repaired similar to Tile and Porcelain in that they all require etching and or adhesion promotors. RME has developed its own method of repairing granite as it is many times translucent rather than opaque which requires a different repair method. Small repairs can be done effectively but if its a large crack affecting the integrity of the counter then probably not as most granite repairs are only cosmetic.
